Elmwood Park Zoo Enrichment Extravaganza

Join us for Elmwood Park Zoo's Spring Enrichment Extravaganza! Guests will get to enjoy scheduled enrichment with our Docents and Keepers along with interactive stations for the children such as "What Is Enrichment" demonstrating how the animals here at the zoo use the enrichment items and why it is beneficial for them. There will be animal sense games, videos, dig boxes, and special activities at our Parrots, Bison and Prairie Dog exhibits, along with Turtle Racing and Animal Painting. Kids will even make enrichment to take home!

Guests will get the chance to watch the following animals receive enrichment items: Cotton-Top Tamarin, American Alligator, Bison, Chacoan Peccaries, and Cougars. (Please check back later for specific times) Don't miss our special presentation with Docents Barb Giangiulio and Kathleen McNamee to see how we prepare the daily animal diets here at the zoo. Free with Zoo addmission.
