Women's Network Luncheon

During the last several years women have made significant gains in the workplace. And, as women continue to build their effectiveness in the business world, they need to know how to appropriately assert themselves. This se

ssion covers the verbal and non-verbal differences between assertive and non-assertive behaviors. Women will become aware of their common unconscious speech habits and mannerisms that can work against them and will learn to use language to their advantage. Guest speaker, Barbara Pachter is an internationally renowned business etiquette and communications speaker, coach and author. She has delivered more than 1800 seminars throughout the world including the first-ever seminar for businesswomen in Kuwait. Pachter is the author of eight widely-acclaimed books, including NewRules@Work: 79 Etiquette Tips, Tools and Techniques to Get Ahead and Stay Ahead, When The Little Things Count…And They Always Count and The Power of Positive Confrontation. Her books have been translated into nine languages. Her client list boasts many of today’s most notable organizations, including Microsoft, Chrysler, Citigroup, Pfizer and Cisco Systems.
