List of Musicians ![]() BIO: The evolution of sound is inevitable. Psychedelphia is a collection of open minds that has adopted this law. With the release of their debut recording "In With the New" (EP, 2008), they have effectively spread this profound truth in order to enhance listeners' experiences. Drawing influence from their multicultural upbringings, the combination of music, spirituality, nature, physics and mathematics have proven to be the major catalysts for developing their sound. Since their inception, Psychedelphia has delivered a number of sold out shows, headlined several festivals across the northeast, and shared the stage with some of their primary influences and closest friends such as DJ Logic, The Breakfast, and many more.

BIO: Lindsey, 26, a Lansdale Catholic graduate, is a professional singer/songwriter from Lansdale, PA. Over the past 5 years she has performed solo at venues like the Tweeter Center, Hershey Park Amphitheatre, The Sands Casino, Dover Int’l Speedway, and more. In 2004 Lindsey auditioned in NYC for American Idol. Following 3 levels of competition, she was selected by Simon Cowell, Paula Abdul, and Randy Jackson to be flown to Hollywood to compete with the top 117 contestants out of 80,000 hopefuls. She ultimately finished as an alternate to the top 32.

BIO: The Elite Strings Youth Orchestra was founded by Venezuelan violist Adriana Linares and conductor Ralph Jackson in 2008, as a venue to fulfill their desire to provide exceptional mentoring and performance opportunities to students in the Lansdale region. The ESYO is comprised with young string players ranging from ages twelve to sixteen. ESYO members have been selected as principal chairs and section players in County, District, Regional, State and National String Competitions. Other members of the ESYO have been featured in prestigious conferences such as the Midwest Clinic in Chicago (2008), The National Music Educators Conference in Milwaukee (2008) and the National Music Educators Conference in Connecticut (2007).
Under the direction of Ms. Linares as Artistic Director and conductor Ralph Jackson, the Elite String Orchestra holds weekly rehearsals and performs two annual concerts at their resident venue the Lansdale Center for the Performing Arts, along with performances at the Faith Lutheran Church in Montgomeryville (2008) and The Dali Quartet Festival in Doylestown (2009). Other outreach collaborations include performances at Cravings Café Live Music Series, the Bucks Choral Society and the Doylestown Community Conservatory Annual Talent Show. Future engagements include appearance at the premiere of the 2010 Lansdale First Fridays, the Lansdale Trinity Church Concert Series, and the 2010 Dali Quartet Music Festival in the summer.

BIO: Born out of house party jam sessions, NPHS grads Mex and Mike have been playing together since middle school. Having taught himself to play guitar, Mike starting learning random songs and soon Mexico was joining in. Up until recently, their performances have all been low key home affairs, or anytime there are instruments near at hand. Now, they are branching out and prepared to rock.

BIO: Morgan got a guitar for Christmas when she was 16, had never sang a song before in her life, and 2 weeks later performed at an open mic at Steel City in Phoenixville. Songwriting quickly became an obsession. Influenced by Ray Lamontagne’s story of waking up one day and deciding to make music, Morgan just picked up and left. She traveled abroad (to England, Ireland, Scotland, Wales, Fiji, Australia, New Zealand, and Italy) with a Martin Backpacker guitar and wrote an entire book of songs. She quickly learned that music was her passion.

BIO: Yuki Yuki Yasumi is the solo project of WBC singer and front man, Al Eustace. The project can be described as a mix of metal, punk, dance, industrial, hip-hop, featuring lyrics in both English and Japanese, but is preformed acoustically with a soulful blend of Blues and Jazz. His most recent album was recorded in 2009 at Pure Water studios along with producer/musician Nathan DiDonato. The album features 22 songs and will be released in the upcoming months of 2010.

BIO: The Cellar Brothers Band is one of the newest young cover bands to come into the scene. The Cellar Brothers Band covers a wide variety of genres from the 60’s to today.. The Cellar Brothers all went to high school together, and Mike Marchese and Mike Olivieri have been playing together for nearly 8 years. In that time they have developed a groove and an understanding of the crowd which allows them to control the atmosphere and get the listener involved.

BIO : After years of touring the local Philly club scene (Rick Toure from “Pladd” and Mike Carlin from “The Deckheds” and “Spankin’ Stanley”), the two met and formed “Rick & MC”, a powerduo with a sound that’s surprisingly, well, BIG! Specializing in crisp harmonies, an eclectic mix of covers and originals, and an engaging onstage presence, Rick & MC have taken their show to venues all over PA-NJ and NY, performing together since 2006.

BIO : Beaufort is a band of musicians covering the best of folk and classic rock, featuring music from the Grateful Dead, Dylan, Beatles, Stones, Little Feat, Neil Young, Allman Brothers, The Band, John Prine, plus music from many other artists in the folk rock/classic rock genre. The band also performs several original compositions. The members of Beaufort hail from and around the Philadelphia, PA area. Original members Jay Popky and Alan Sigman met in the campgrounds of the Philadelphia Folk Festival in August of 1998 and have been jamming ever since. Jay asked Alan to take their collaboration outside the PFF campground, and suggested the name Beaufort as a nod to his beautiful birth town of Beaufort, SC. Alan agreed and Beaufort was born. The band is comprised of Alan Sigman on keyboards and vocals, Jay Popky on acoustic lead and rhythm guitars and vocals, Pam Graboyes on percussion and vocals, Dave Bennett on bass and vocals, and Chris Gately on drums. Beaufort, simply put, has a sound that turns heads in any venue. They make the songs their own with improvised jams in the finest traditions of the Dead, Allmans, etc. Whether at clubs or private parties, their audiences see and hear for themselves just how much Beaufort loves to make music together. |
